In December 2025, the government of Russia announced an export tariff quota on certain grains applicable from 15 February to 30 June 2026. In April 2026, the government of Russia increased the export tariff quota on wheat, meslin, barley, and corn by an additional 5 million tonnes, effective 10 April 2026.
