These documents govern the use of Global Trade Alert data provided by the St.Gallen Endowment for Prosperity through Trade (SGEPT). The General Terms bind every subscriber. The Channel Terms for each delivery channel you use apply on top of them, and purchases made through an online checkout are also governed by the Online Purchase Terms. Your Order or Subscription Confirmation names the datasets, the licence class, the term, and the fees.
GTA Licensed Data — General Terms
The agreement governing all GTA data, whichever way it is delivered. It sets out the three licence classes, Internal Use, Derived Use, and Redistribution, and the Permitted Citation permission that applies within each of them, together with attribution requirements, intellectual property, restrictions on use, warranties, liability, and governing law. It also carries the provisions specific to the NIPO data and to the U.S. Applied Tariff Register.
GTA API Terms
Operational terms for subscribers with direct access to the GTA API: endpoints and data formats, credentials, version management, and acceptable use. They apply only where an Order grants direct API access, and they supplement the General Terms rather than replacing them.
GTA Dashboard Terms
Operational terms for the GTA Dashboard: accounts and authorised users, acceptable use, and the limits that apply to this channel. A Dashboard subscription confers access through the Dashboard only.
GTA MCP Terms
Operational terms for the GTA MCP Server: accounts, seats and workspaces, usage metering, the relationship with the AI host you connect from, and acceptable use specific to this channel. Formation, prices, and renewal for self-service MCP plans are set by the Online Purchase Terms.
SGEPT Online Purchase Terms
How an online purchase is formed and billed: the Subscription Confirmation, prices and product composition, payment and renewal, cancellation, refunds, taxes, and the rules for consumer purchases. They do not expand the data licence, which is set by the General Terms and your Order.
Each document carries its version date on the title page. Prior versions stay accessible in the archive for at least three years after they are superseded, and the notice published at a retired document's address links to both its successor and its archived copy.
