In July 2024, the government of Brazil launched the 2024/2025 Agricultural and Livestock Plan approving different measures to support farmers. The annual budget for the 2024/2025 Plan was increased from BRL 364.2 billion (USD 65.4 billion) to BRL 400.6 (USD 71.9 billion).
