In August 2023, the government of Brazil allocated additional resources to the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES in Portuguese) for the implementation of the credit Programme for Modernisation of Fleet of Agricultural Tractors and Associated Implements and Harvesters (Moderfrota in Portuguese) and the National Programme for Strengthening Agriculture (Pronaf in Portuguese).
