In July 2023, the government of Brazil published an Ordinance confirming the annual budget of the National Programme for Strengthening Agriculture (Pronaf in Portuguese) was increased. The scheme forms part of the 2023/2024 Agricultural and Livestock Plan announced in late June 2023 (see related state act).
