In July 2025, Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock announced the budget for the 2025/2026 Agricultural and Livestock Plan (SAFRA Plan). The total budget for the 2025/2026 edition was increased from BRL 400.6 (USD 71.9 billion) to BRL 516.2 billion (USD 94.55 billion).
