Sri Lanka: Temporary amendments to special commodity levy on rice and sugar

On 5 September 2014, Sri Lanka changed the Special Commodity Levy for certain products. This levy is valid for three months. See related measures for previous changes. The Special Commodity Levy is a composite duty on the product and no other tax, duty, cess etc. is applicable on the said product while the levy is valid.
