In September 2025, the US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) issued a rule extending Entity List and Military End-User (MEU) List restrictions to affiliates of listed entities. In November 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) suspended for one year the implementation of the interim final rule “Expansion of End-User Controls to Cover Affiliates of Certain Listed Entities.” The suspension is effective from 10 November 2025 to 9 November 2026.
