In September 2025, the U.S. authorities announced a notice implementing the U.S.-EU Framework Agreement by modifying the Harmonized Tariff Schedule to reduce Section 232 duties on automobiles and exempt civil aircraft, pharmaceuticals, and other specified goods from reciprocal and national security tariffs.
