United States of America: U.S. Administration Issues National Security Memorandum on Iran

In February 2025, the White House issued National Security Presidential Memorandum NSPM-2, outlining a "maximum pressure" strategy against Iran. The directive mandates expanded sanctions, diplomatic isolation, and legal actions to counter Iran's nuclear program, ballistic missile development, and alleged support for terrorism.
