In December 2024, the Russian government allocated over RUB 36 billion (USD 334.15 million) in state aid to subsidise discounts for purchasing new local cars by natural persons in 2025. It constitutes a RUB 12.17 billion (USD 112.96 million) increase compared to the total regular budget of this state aid scheme in 2024, which was over RUB 23.83 billion (USD 221.19 million).
