In November 2023, the Russian government announced the allocation of over RUB 17.33 billion (USD 194.62 million) to a state aid scheme subsidising the purchase of localised cars by natural persons in 2024. It constitutes a RUB 10.99 billion (USD 123.42 million) increase compared to the total regular budget of this state aid scheme in 2023, which was RUB 6.34 billion (USD 71.2 million).
