Russia: Government allocates over RUB 5.1 billion to subsidise purchase of local cars in 2023

In December 2022, the Russian government announced the allocation of over RUB 5.1 billion (USD 82.2 million) to a state aid scheme subsidising the purchase of localised cars by natural persons in 2023. It constitutes a two-times decrease compared to the total regular budget of this state aid scheme in 2022, which was over RUB 10.28 billion (USD 164.28 million).
