In December 2022, the EU adopted additional sanctions against Russia in the context of its invasion of Ukraine. The package includes extended import and export bans, an investment prohibition on Russian mining projects, the suspending of additional broadcasting licenses, and new entities added to the frozen fund list (see related state act). It also includes a couple of derogations to the oil and petroleum import bn of June 2022 (see related state act).
