EU: Suspension of broadcasting activities of Russian state-owned Sputnik and RT

In March 2022, the EU suspended the broadcasting services of two Russian state-owned media outlets. The measure forms part of the fourth sanctions package against Russia in the context of the attack on Ukraine.
