In June 2022, the government of Brazil launched the 2022/2023 Agricultural and Livestock Plan approving different subsidies to farmers. The total budget for the 2022/2023 Plan was increased from BRL 251.2 billion (USD 48 billion) to BRL 340.88 (USD 65 billion).
