The Government of Brazil has launched the 2020/2021 Agricultural and Livestock Plan providing credit lines to farmers with lower interest rates than those set at the market. The total budget for the 2020/2021 Plan is BRL 236.3 billion (ca. USD 44.2 billion) whereas in the previous plan it was set at BRL 225.59 billion.
The new resources will be available for the period lasting between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021.
