In February 2012, the European Commission initiated a new anti-subsidy investigation and definitive duties were imposed in March 2013. In March 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive countervailing duty was extended in May 2019. In April 2024, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2025.
