India: Incentives approved under the PLI scheme for the Auto sector (December 2025)

In December 2025, the Ministry of Heavy Industries in India announced that several automotive manufacturers received production-linked incentives under the Champion OEM Incentive scheme. These incentives support the domestic production of battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
