In November 2025, the European Commission approved a EUR 450 (USD 518.04) million Czech State aid measure for US chipmaker Onsemi. The aid is intended for setting up a novel integrated chip manufacturing plant for Silicon Carbide power devices in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm.
