This Thread tracks the domestic subsidies affecting semiconductors, including integrated circuits and chips. Focusing solely on interventions classified as subsidies by Global Trade Alert and HS codes linked to semiconductors, it covers policy interventions adopted since 2017. Note that to identify relevant policy actions, the Global Trade Alert team focused on a mixed approach based on the identification of relevant HS and CPC codes as well as text mining.
