In November 2025, China's Ministry of Commerce suspended for one year its "countermeasures" against five US-related subsidiaries of Hanwha Ocean. According to the announcement, the suspension follows the United States' one-year suspension of its Section 301 investigation measures against China's maritime, logistics, and shipbuilding industries.
