Russia: Introduction and withdrawal of temporary export ban on petrol for all exporters, excluding producers of petroleum products (1-31 October 2025)

In August 2025, the government of Russia extended a temporary ban on petrol exports for a period from 1 to 31 October 2025, but exempted producers of petroleum products from the ban. In September 2025, the exemption was cancelled, and the export ban for all exporters was reinstated for the period from 1 October to 31 December 2025.
