United States of America: Provisional antidumping duty on imports of silicon metal from Angola, Australia, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Norway

In May 2025, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of silicon metal from Angola, Australia, the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Norway. In September 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Angola and the Lao People's Democratic Republic. In February 2026, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from Australia and Norway. The investigation is still in progress.
