United States of America: Commerce Department concludes Section 232 investigation into the national security implications of importing commercial aircraft and jet engines, and their parts

This GTA Thread tracks all Section 232 investigations initiated by the United States since 2018 under the Trade Expansion Act of 1962. These investigations assess whether imports of certain goods threaten U.S. national security by examining domestic capacity, supply chain vulnerabilities, and import dependence.
