Canada (Newfoundland and Labrador): Government announces counter-measures against the U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods

In March 2025, the government of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador directed the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation to halt sales of American alcohol products in response to U.S. tariffs. The provincial government will also review and stop "immediately, where possible, procurement from the U.S".
