In November 2024, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of hexamethylenetetramine from China and India (published in November 2024, but the applicable initiation date is in October 2024). In March 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from China and India. In September 2025, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China. In January 2026, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from India.
