In November 2024, the United States initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of hexamethylenetetramine from China, Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia (published in November 2024 but the applicable initiation date is in October 2024). In May 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from China, Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia. In September 2025, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China. In January 2026, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia.
