China: Export Quotas for Agricultural and Industrial Products of 2011

On 28 October 2010, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) annouced the new export quotas for agricultural and industrial products. Qualified applicants may apply for the quota to the MOFCOM or to local commerce authorities. The MOFCOM will receive the application during November 1-15, 2010. Compared to 2010, export quotas changed for seven products:

Export tax

An export quota was introduced for magnesite (1,850,000 tons). The export quota on tin and articles decreased from 21,000 tons to 189,000 tons.
