Japan: New measures announced to achieve economic revitalisation in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine (October 2022)

In October 2022, the Japanese Cabinet Office Home announced the "Comprehensive Economic Measures to Overcome High Prices and Achieve Economic Revitalisation" package (「物価高克服・経済再生実現のための総合経済対策」について in Japanese). The package sets out a series of economic, social and health measures in the context of soaring prices, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
