In March 2011, the European Commission initiated a sunset review and extended the duty in June 2012. In July 2017, a sunset review was initiated and the duty was extended for a new period in October 2018. In October 2023, a sunset review on imports originating from Russia was initiated and the definitive duty on imports originating from Russia was extended for a new period in December 2024.
