Poland: Introduction of market-wide capacity mechanism granting regular payments to capacity providers

On 28 July 2016, the Polish authorities notified the European Commission of their intention to introduce a capacity mechanism. The mechanism provides regular payments to certain providers participating providers. The measure is in force for a period of 10 years.
