Italy: Introduction of market-wide capacity mechanism granting regular payments to capacity providers

On 29 March 2015, the Italian authorities notified the European Commission of their intention to introduce a mechanism. The mechanism provides regular payments to certain participating providers. The measure is in force for a period of 10 years until 31 December 2028.
