Belgium: Introduction of strategic reserve mechanism granting payments to specific Belgium capacity operators

On 13 July 2017, the Belgium authorities notified the European Commission of a measure to procure a strategic reserve for the winter 2017/2018 to the winter 2021/2022. The measure provides payments to specific Belgium capacity operators participating in the strategic reserve. The measure is in force from 1 November 2017 to 31 March 2022.
