In December 2016, the European Commission initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of certain corrosion resistant steels from China. In August 2017, a provisional antidumping duty was imposed. In February 2018, a definitive duty was imposed. In February 2023, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in March 2024.
