This thread collects government interventions that alter the conditions of international commerce in response to the armed conflict involving Iran and the associated disruption to energy transit through the Strait of Hormuz. Documented measures include tariff changes, export restrictions, capital controls, and domestic subsidies among others. These actions affect cross-border energy, food, and industrial supply chains. The thread covers measures announced from 28 February 2026 onwards across all implementing jurisdictions identified by GTA monitoring.
