In April 2026, the EU added 77 companies from Russia, China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Seychelles, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan to its frozen fund list. The measure is part of the EU's 20th sanctions related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine (see related state acts).
