In October 2025, the EU adopted additional sanctions against Belarus in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The package mirrors certain trade, financial and services-related provisions from the Russian to the Belarus sanctions regime. The Council also decided on new listings related to the Belarusian military-industrial complex and the Lukashenka regime.
