In November 2025, the Union Cabinet of India approved the introduction of the Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters (CGSE) to provide 100% credit guarantee coverage for additional credit facilities up to INR 20'000 crore to eligible exporters, including micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs).
