In November 2025, the president of Russia authorised the sale by John Crane UK Limited of its 50% stake in DKI Compressor Equipment LLC to Group of Companies VSK – High-Technology Systems and Components LLC. Under Decree No. 520 adopted in August 2022, all transactions related to certain firms in the Russian energy and financial sectors and involving investors from 'unfriendly' countries require presidential approval.
