In October 2025, the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Agency launched the GBP 500 million Local Innovation Partnerships Fund (LIPF) to support collaborations between academia, industry, and civic institutions to accelerate near-to-market research and development in high-potential innovation clusters across the UK.
