In March 2025, the Korean authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of carbon steel and other alloy steel hot-rolled products from Japan and China. In September 2025, a provisional duty was imposed. In January 2026, the provisional antidumping duty was extended until June 2026. In June 2026, a definitive duty was imposed.
