In October 2025, the president of Russia placed Vonorus LLC, another Russian subsidiary of Silgan Metal Packaging Mitterdorf GmbH, under the temporary government administration. The measure concerns the subsidiary of the firm from the country deemed "unfriendly" by the Russian government.
