In August 2025, Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Farming established exceptional emergency procedures for public food purchases. These measures aim to support Brazilian producers and exporters affected by additional import tariffs imposed by the United States.
