In July 2025, the European Commission provided a financial grant to Green Dot Advanced Recycling GmbH for the “First European large-scale integrated pre-treatment and chemical recycling plant for mixed plastic waste to generate pyrolysis oil as an alternative raw material for fossil-based raw materials” project.
