In August 2024, the United Kingdom announced the initiation of a transition investigation on imports of certain bicycles and certain bicycle parts originating in China, including bicycles consigned from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Tunisia. The investigation is still in progress.
