In June 2025, the Australian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of light gauge steel stud and track from China. In May 2026, a provisional duty was imposed. The investigation is still in progress.

On 17 June 2026, the Australian authorities published a notice amending the provisional antidumping duties. The new applicable provisional duty rate ranges from 33.3% to 37.8%.
