Canada: Definitive antidumping duty on imports of steel strapping from China and Türkiye, as well as termination of provisional antidumping duty on imports from the Republic of Korea and Vietnam

In May 2025, the Canadian authorities initiated an antidumping investigation on imports of steel strapping from China, the Republic of Korea, Türkiye, and Vietnam. In September 2025, a provisional duty was imposed on imports from China, the Republic of Korea, Türkiye, and Vietnam. In January 2026, a definitive duty was imposed on imports from China and Türkiye, and the provisional duty was terminated on imports from the Republic of Korea and Vietnam.
