In January 2025, the United States initiated an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of certain ceramic abrasive grains from China. In May 2025, a provisional duty was imposed. In September 2025, a definitive duty was imposed.

On 29 September 2025, the United States imposed a definitive anti-subsidy duty on imports of the subject good from China. The rate of duty on imports from China is set at 165.05%.
