Philippines: Government further reduces the maximum suggested retail price of imported rice in the National Capital Region (April 2025)

In March 2025, the Department of Agriculture of the Philippines further reduced the maximum suggested retail price of imported rice in the National Capital Region (Metro Manila) from PHP 49 (USD 0.85) per kg to PHP 45 (USD 0.78) per kg. It also eliminated MSRP in all other regions of the Philippines.
